Robert Stanz is a Lakeland, Florida attorney (ROBERT J. STANZ, P.A.), whose practice involves real estate development and land use, as well as both commercial and residential transactions, and litigation. He has significant experience regarding foreclosures, title insurance, title examination, retail leasing, zoning, land development regulations, communications towers, timeshare law and community associations and has real estate clients throughout the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Stanz has represented clients regarding retail and residential development, foreclosures, timeshare law and property owners’ associations. He earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, and M.S. degree from the University of Louisville; and his J.D. degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville (1997).

Mr. Stanz is licensed to practice law in Florida, Kentucky and Indiana; and is a former President of the Lakeland Bar Association.  Prior to taking the Florida Bar, he was a title examiner with Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund and after taking the Florida Bar in 1999, he worked for Holland & Knight LLP for several years. Mr. Stanz is a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a graduate of both Leadership Lakeland (Class XXXIII) and Leadership Polk (Class III). He also is a member of ALTA, the Polk County Real Estate Investors Association, and the Florida Green Building Coalition.
